Stakeholders Outreach and Engagement

We are conscious of the philosophy of the greater good of the greater number and therefore believe in engaging with our stakeholders, particularly policy makers, in a sustained and collective way.

Representations and Consultations

We have been representing the interests of thalassemics in person and through our representations on topics ranging from disability guidelines (draft) and charter of patients’ rights (draft) to the policy on hemoglobinopathies (draft).

Events

We understand the importance of creating a surround sound around topics of advocacy and have accordingly been creating platforms for patients and other stakeholders to share their perspectives on such topics in the presence of decision makers and influencers.

Members of TPAG took a pledge to take steps towards a thalassemia free India with Thalassemics India’s brand ambassador and veteran actor Mr. Jackie Shroff on 8th May 2018, at Delhi.

Publications

Being in the area of advocacy, we are a fan of the written word, and our newsletter – Voice of Thalassemics – proves that! The newsletter attempts to capture areas of interest from an advocacy standpoint and is meant to be distributed to the relevant stakeholders.
